A fast-paced FinTech company seeks a highly meticulous Pricing Analyst to joins its Finance team. Reporting directory to the CFO, your core role will be to effectively manage the company’s pricing strategy while ensuring accurate pricing adjustments to required corridors. You will also be required to develop models to analyse & report on BI data to justify pricing adjustments. You will need Grade 12, a BCom Finance or Stats related Degree, at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, BI data/analysis experience, knowledge of pricing strategies, financial forecasting.
Manage the pricing strategy for the Group.
Ensure that pricing across all corridors is in line with the business strategy.
Liaise with marketing after determining pricing strategies in order to provide marketing strategies.
Use BI data in order to analyse business pricing structures and identify opportunities to optimise strategies.
Liaise with business development and sales teams in order to gain additional product and profitability information. Create accurate reports on current and proposed pricing strategies.
Develop a system for comparative pricing data analysis.
Proactively undertake research on the informal sector to assess pricing structures.
Ensure the system is always accurate and updated.
Build statistical models to demonstrate the impact of pricing adjustments.
Demonstrate the full profit and loss impact of pricing changes.
Support business initiatives through pricing analysis.
Provide analysis information in order to support business initiatives, projects, and strategies.
Manage own professional and self-development.
Grade 12 or equivalent.
BCom / Finance / Statistics related Degree.
5 Years’ experience in Pricing Analysis.
Experience in using BI data / BI Analysis.
Knowledge of pricing strategies.
BI Analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of money transfer procedures.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
