An innovative consulting and training company has an opportunity for a real business development hunter that understands what it entails to sell service. Responsibilities

  • Drive sales revenue through new business development and account management of existing client
  • Management of client database through CRM maximiser programme
  • Attend client meetings to achieve sales targets
  • Develop and expand on client base
  • Manage a sales pipeline and ensure all sales targets are met
  • Provide accurate sales reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Attend networking events and meetings to prospect for new clients
  • Create sales forecasts
  • Follow the sales life cycle
  • Provide adequate customer satisfaction at all times


  • Knowledge of sales life cycle
  • Two to three¬†years' experience in a sales-related environment
  • An adequate understanding of what is entailed in selling a service, as opposed to a product
  • Ability to adapt to various client needs
  • Hunter type of sales approach. Not afraid to find new business.
  • A strong network of clients
  • Previous experience or understanding of training solutions advantageous
  • Understanding of BEE services advantageous
