  1. POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Formal Anti-Poaching Training
  • PSIRA Grade C
  • Self-Loading Carbine SAPS Competency

 

  1. EXPERIENCE
    • A minimum of two (5) years post qualification experience in Anti-Poaching.

  1. CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

      • Ensure all activities of the APU (patrols, waylays, training, roadblocks, stop and search etc.) are conducted correctly when the Security Manager is away. Reporting back to the Acting Security Manager or
      • To report all grievances or disciplinary issues involving any APU staff straight to Security
      • Ensure discipline within
      • Assist Security Manager with signing in and out company
      • Take instruction from Security Manager and relay instruction to all field rangers.
      • Conduct daily foot/vehicle patrols as per requirements set out by ORGR
      • Day/Night Anti-Poaching
      • Poacher follow
      • OP’s.
      • Continuous training in the APU field as set out by the Security Manager
      • Report any audible Gunshots to Security Manager
      • On call 24/7.
      • Report any Rhino sightings and tracks to Security
      • Report any Poaching/Criminal activity to Security
