Description

Team supervision by:
 Planning, monitoring and controlling team member task accomplishments.
 Communicating, instructing and maintaining discipline within the team.
 Assessing competence, training and developing team members.
 Assisting with team member recruitment and selection.
 Agreed team goals and performance standards are achieved.
 Performance of team members accessed and training provided as planned.
 Communicating job expectations and managing performance.
 Maintaining Customer Service productivity by monitoring and ensuring tasks are completed.
Managing of client support services by:
 Conducting daily customer service levels by ensuring daily telephonic contact, questioning and
recording responses are actioned.
 Ensuring that collection requests are logged correctly on the collection site.
 Preparing freight quotations by requesting and processing freightware data i.e. Acc no, area (senders &
 receivers), service levels, dimensions and weights. Sending printed quotation(s) to customers.
 Investigating and resolving queries / problems, analysing, verifying, and determining status, communicating
such finding to customers.
 Assisting with client queries.
 Manage customer service procedures within agreed time-frame(s) without error.
  Queries / problems resolved timeously.
 Handling inter-branch and customer queries / requirements by investigating, proposing solutions and taking
corrective action.
Managing the administering of the customer service procedures by:
 Monitoring third party agent POD’s by printing outstanding POD report (by days) and verifying status and
POD information, resolving queries and ensuring collections are being done.
 Preparing collection and driver productivity reports.
 Preparing waybills awaiting POD’s / waybills awaiting delivery reports, investigating / reporting on problems.
 Queries / problems resolved timeously.
 Managing and monitoring of back to basic reports.
Requirements
Grade 12 minimum.
 2 to 3 years relevant administration experience.
 Industry related experience.
 Freightware system or similar.
 Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook).
 Adhere to Company Disciplinary Code and Procedures.
 Numerical computation and analysis.
 Excellent interpersonal skills.
  Ability to compile own correspondence.
 Exceptional communication skills, both internal and external.
 Ability to work irregular hours at short notice.
 Ability to work under pressure.
 Ability to work as a team player.
 Good time management.
 Assertive.
 Self-motivated.
 Reliable.
 A high degree of integrity required.
 Presentable and of a professional manner.
