Assist with day tot day human resource functions and duties.
Assist in the recruitment process (e.g. compiling advertisements, screening of Cv's, scheduling and confirming interviews, conducting interviews, reference checking, appointment- and on-boarding administration)
Maintain personnel records and maintain employee confidentiality.
Assist with monthly payroll preparation by providing accurate and detailed information and documentation.
Assist with learning and development administration.
Prepare human resources reports as needed.
Assist human resources department with projects and/or administrative duties as assigned.
Support internal and external human resources related inquiries or requests.
Maintain digital and physical records of employees.
Perform periodic audits of human resources files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Maintain calendar of human resources department.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Must have problem solving skills, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in timeous manner.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a practical manner, and gather and evaluate information.
Must be able to prioritize and plan work effectively and efficiently.
Must be organized, accurate, and be able to monitor work for quality.
Must be dependable, follow instructions, respond positively to management direction, and must be able to improve on performance through management feedback.
Minimum qualification: Grade 12
Certificate/Diploma in Human Resource Management, or equivalent qualification in related field
