Description

A Key Account Manager position has become available within the Go to Market team to manage and grow named accounts that currently contractually engage with the Company nationally (Western Cape, JHB and Durban regions). The role has two key performance areas, the first is to ensure that the current services offered are retained and the second is to grow the accounts by selling the Company’s solutions into different horizontals within the existing client base. Strong relationship building is a key competency to be successful in this role.

Qualification:

· Matric

· Batchelor Degree (an advantage)

· Relevant sales courses

· Analytics courses an advantage

Experience, Skills and Competencies Requirements

· At least 15 years of B to B corporate sales experience (must have)

· At least 5 years’ experience selling data or analytics solutions, within the customer engagement lifecycle, Credit Risk, Customer Engagement and Collections (must have)

· Sales of enterprise technology and technology services to companies that service the B to C market (must have)

· Experience in selling at C level (must have)

· Experience in selling to retail credit, specialised lenders, EDC’s (an advantage)

· Understanding of enterprise technology

· Understanding of the analytics

· Relationship building and sales skills

· The ability to execute a sales plan efficiently and effectively

· Proposal coordination and writing

· Negotiation

· Goal setting and achieving set goals

· Work independently

· Good communication - written and verbal skills

· Commercial acumen

· Team work and coordinating efforts in distributed teams to get a job done

· Above average skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

· Drivers licence

· Ability to travel nationally

· SA citizens only!

Key Performance Areas

· Achieve new business quarterly contract goals and overall sales contract goals

· Retain existing contract revenues and grow these revenues where possible

· Develop and implement strategic account plans for named accounts

· Accurate sales tracking with regard to opportunities and activity

· Keeping abreast of latest trends in the industry
