Description

 

The main purpose of the job: To ensure that the Inward Logistics function in the store runs smoothly and
at maximum efficiency by co-coordinating the purchasing of all stock for the business to ensure that pre
determined stock levels are not exceeded and to minimize stock -outs

 

  • Co-ordinating the purchasing of all stock for the business
  • Ensuring that only approved suppliers are utilized
  • Ensuring that predetermined stock levels are not exceeded
  • Minimizing stock-outs
  • Control dead and surplus stock
  • Attend to all local and store specific pricing
  • Ensuring stock file integrity by investigating and correcting all stock anomalies
  • Controlling and rectifying negative stocks
  • Manage Inward Logistics department
  • Manage Stock Control function, GRN function, Receiving and Procurement.

Job Requirements

Required Minimum Education:   Grade 12

Count Stock (NQF 2)

Control Stock (NQF 2)

Mark Merchandise (NQF 2)

Replenish Stock (NQF 3)

Management (NQF 4)

Advanced Buying (NQF 5)

 

Advisable:                                  Retail Diploma / B.Tech qualification (NQF 6 – 7)

Required Minimum Experience:  5  year’s related experience
