Description

What will you do?

Outputs will include but are not limited to:

  • General administrative duties such as diary management, travel arrangements, etc.
  • Document preparation for meetings
  • Preparation of monthly reports and powerpoint presentations when required
  • Foster excellent internal relationships in the business and across the Sanlam Group
  • Project Administration
  • Work closely with the Head: Strategy & Special Projects in certain deliverables
  • Draft minutes ¬†from meetings and ensure that these are completed within reasonable and appropriate time
  • Prepare payments requisitions for goods and services
  • Provide administrative support by ensuring that time frames, policies and procedures are adhered to in respect of reports, performance management, etc and follow up on deadlines in respect of work processes/reports
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • General admin and ad hoc duties

  • Proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
  • Ability to interact with executives, senior management and staff at all levels in and across the business
  • Display utmost discretion as the candidate will have access to confidential information
  • Display a professional approach
Qualifications and experience

 

  • Grade 12
  • 5 years relevant experience in an executive assistant or similar role within the financial services environment
  • Business management degree or diploma will be a distinct advantage
