POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible to coordinate and process the procurement purchases, apply for import permits/permit dispensation letters, receipting of GRV’s, process and finalise imported supplier related claims, and assist with relevant functions in procurement by investing in own personal development and living the Etlin’s values.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS/OUTPUTS/RESPONSIBILITIES
•Coordinate and process procurement purchases
•Apply for import permits and import permit dispensation letters
•Receipting of GRV’s
•Process and finalise imported supplier related claims
•Assist with relevant functions to procurement
•Invest in personal development
•Living the Etlin values.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: Matric
Preferred: Higher Certificate in Supply Chain Management / Diploma in relevant field

EXPERIENCE
Minimum: 1-year administration experience in a shipping environment.
Preferred: 2-3 years administration experience in a shipping environment and in supply chain (procurement).

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Knowledge/Understanding:
•Knowledge in shipping forwarding and clearing (contractual terms).
•Understanding of foreign purchasing administration
•Knowledge on validating contracts
•Understanding the Supply Chain Inputs and Outputs of each level.
•Knowledge of obtaining import permits, checking SA approved plants and know estimate shipping period from different Countries
•Understanding of applicable duties on products from different country origins
•Understand different sections within the supply chain functions and requirements (supplier, shipping agents, DAFF, cold store, sales)

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
•Valid Code B driver’s license and own transport
•Clear Criminal Record
•Working after hours as required
