Description

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Responsible for managing and supervising the successful execution of multiple projects during the projects’ lifecycles, within pre-set time frame and agreed budgets.
Oversee complex projects from inception to completion to reduce costs, maximize efficiencies, and increase revenue.
Establish a work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for assignment of duties, responsibilities and scope of authority for project personnel.
Management of the functions of the Project Management Office, including updating policies, SDLC processes, Project Management templates.
•Conduct periodic meetings with subordinates to follow-up on daily activities as per the set plans.
Manage projects using the Prince II Methodology in alignment with the SDLC and conducting projects in an Agile framework.
Management of the Project request for changes (RFC) through the change management process.
Prepare project status reports with the assistance of project engineers and modify schedules or plans as required.
Coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables for approval including, design documents, cost estimates, schedules and works plans.
Prepare financial and administrative-related plans, including the Business Case for the project, getting the endorsement from concerned parties and monitoring the implementation of plans.
Identifying opportunities to simplify, improve or redesign procedures and submitting reports with recommendations in this regard.
Configure, manage and supervise the implementation of the assigned project to ensure optimal utilisation of resources and meeting the schedules.
Management of the functions of the Project Management Office, including updating policies, SDLC processes, Project Management templates.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline.
Diploma in Project Management – Prince 2 or PMBOK.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

8 -10 Years relevant proven continuous improvement experience.
Ability to work well independently and with a team.
Agile Methodology experience.
6 - 8 Years relevant ICT project management experience.
