Description

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
QUALITY CONTROL
•Track the quality compliance of all incoming raw materials and report on the trends
•Monitor and report on the adherence to quality control interventions (i.e first off check, in-process checks, etc)
•Regularly audit and report on the correctness of information supplied to the factory to process customer orders
•Apply the Root Cause Analysis Technique to solve process problems and provide reports to management
•In collaboration with the Quality Inspectors regularly ensure adherence to QMS procedures and report on deviations
•Perform sound statistical analysis of all factory NCR data to highlight and report on the problem areas
•Utilizing sound data analysis propose improvements to manufacturing processes to enhance quality of product
•Generate various quality reports as required by the Quality Engineer.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
•Champion the implementation of the Process Control Plans throughout the factory processes
•Assist with generating and implementing flow diagrams for manufacturing and quality processes
•In collaboration with operations team draw up and implement the required works instructions
•Conduct internal audits on the manufacturing processes and efficiently close out findings
•Assist with the investigations of customer complaints and implementation of remedial actions
•Assist with the dissemination of quality training as required from time to time
•Regularly engage with suppliers to monitor and improve the quality of products supplied to DFC

Requirements

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
•Matric
•Tertiary Diploma or Degree in Quality Assurance
•Quality Technician Qualification (Advantageous)

EXPERIENCE
•Min 5 years’ experience in the quality systems of a Manufacturing Environment
•Proven proficiency in the Microsoft computing tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Projects)
•Experience in the maintenance of the Quality Management Systems as guided by the ISO 9001:2015 standard
