Description

Administration

-Work on approved commission and administrative processes and databases to
calculate and monitor commissions and incentives.
-Manage all commissions for the 1Life Distribution Life and Wealth commissions
departments.
-Design commission models that relates to exporting data, importing it into
model, run validation checks on accuracy whilst complying with legislation.
-Responsible for internal and external partner commission statements for all
direct sales channels and distribution channels from Sales Managers to
Business Manager.

Payroll Administration

-Deliver accurate and timely processing of payroll; input and maintain payroll
data; check payrolls for accuracy prior to submission; prepare manual payments
when required; complete financial reconciliations.
-Submit all payments to senior management for approval and to payroll for
payment.
-Act as financial point of contact regarding loading and processing of the
payments to bank.
-Calculate the Life and Wealth BCO Commission models and provide support to
the leadership of this function and team.

Document and Data Management

-Create and ensure compliance with a company wide document management
system.
-Manage process regarding submissions and approval, track and ensure
accuracy of documented processes.
-Uploading of supervision and all other documentation uploading.
-Track and management of incentives.
-When required, keep track of business logs that have an implication on
commission outcome.
-Business Process/Model Rethink
-Analyze and identify opportunities to improve processes, practices, and
procedures using prescribed methodologies, uncovering opportunities for
innovation.

Operational Compliance

-Monitor and review performance and behaviors within area of responsibility to
identify and resolve non-compliance with the organization's policies and relevant
regulatory codes and codes of conduct.

Manage transgressions.

-Ensure critical Long-term regulations are applied and adhered to in this channel
regarding regulatory commissions.

Insights and Reporting

-Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates.
-Identify and interpret patterns and trends, and present findings to relevant
stakeholders.
-Provide assistance with any ad hoc reporting that leads to any commission loss
or gain.

Performance Management

-Prioritise own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards
of productivity, quality and timeliness; use performance management systems to
improve personal performance.

Personal Capability Building

-Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development
planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or
maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve
performance and fulfill personal potential.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant

EDUCATION

General Education:
Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential); Financial Degree( Essential)

EXPERIENCE

General Experience:
5 - 7 years' experience in commission management and administration
(Essential); Experience in the Financial Service Industry (Essential) 4 or more
years' experience and knowledge of the Long-term insurance Industry
(Essential)
