• Ensuring returned/damaged stock is processed and sent back to Suppliers and sellers within agreed SLA’s
• Cycle counting, management of inventory, and location management of stock
• Escalation point for RFC/RO queries from various functions within the business
• Management of the RFC/RO teams
• Process and operational improvements within the return to supplier function
• Understanding of sales and the impact thereof on business performance
• Strategic reviews of departmental KPIs and SLAs
• Daily/weekly/monthly commercial reporting management
• Liaise with and work with 2 Distribution centres (JHB and CPT)
• Responsible for processes and operations of 2 RFC/RO teams (CPT & JHB)
• Optimizing all workflow activities within Returns for credit and removal orders.
• Collaborate with line manager to identify staff training and development needs for improved performance
• Tracks employee progress and assists in analysing training program effectiveness
• Assist in the coaching of staff towards meeting and exceeding performance expectations for quantity, quality, timeliness, and efficiency
• Demonstrate, train and enforce Operational “Best Practices”
• Assist supervisors and management staff with people development.
• Identify areas that need the most improvement and report to supervisor for quality and performance enhancement
• Assist with annual performance review
• Train and support the understanding of operational KPI
• Works on ad hoc projects and events.
• Preparation of management reports
• Collaborate with project and operations manager

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain/logistics/business
• 3-5 years field experience in operations
• Experience in the management of stock
• Strong People management affinity
• Full Understanding of a WMS, reporting dashboards, application, troubleshoot, problems
• WMS systems proficiency (Oracle)
• Reporting dashboards proficiency (Qlikview, Qliksense, etc)
• Understanding of Warehouse principles and management (5S, lean manufacturing, six sigma)
• Computer Literate (Intermediate to Advance Excel skills, PowerPoint presentations skills, MS Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Project Management)
• Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude; self-motivated
• History of inventory and stock management
• Ability to work with and be credible with various cross-functional teams: returns, seller support and inbound teams
• Ability to manage teams across various sites
• History of dealing with customers and providing support
