Understand the key requirements of approved job requisitions.
Responsible for the end to end recruitment on all requirements assigned to source.
Generate job posting for publishing to attract suitable candidates.
Collaboratively consult with stakeholders and identify recruiting activities to source potential candidates.
Build a candidate pool and talent pipelines by posting job advertisements through job boards, social media and company websites.
Evaluate applications, review CV’s, conduct references and background checks, complete initial telephonic interviews to establish a qualified candidate pool.
Make recommendations to stakeholders on qualified candidates suitable for interviews.
Understand the culture and value proposition and be an ambassador of these values in the market when communicating with candidates and stakeholders.
Notify on difficult recruitment issues to the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Ensure the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is kept up to date with all recruitment, selection and placement information.
Adherence to all legislative requirements when advertising and throughout the selection and interviewing process.
Remain up to date with and informed on legislative changes.
Ensure consistency in the hiring process and apply best in class stakeholder and candidate experience.
Ensure effective use of the applicant tracking system in all recruiting activities.
Previous working experience as a Talent Acquisition Officer for approximately 2 + years
Experience in the IT Industry
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent qualification
HR legislation (EEA and BCEA)
HR Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of the recruitment life cycle
