- Minimum requirements: Grade 12 Min 2 years’ FMCG Warehousing
experience Supply Chain Management experience Previous experience in
FMCG warehousing environment Diploma or degree in Logistics would be
advantage Good leadership and interpersonal skills Planning and
organizational skills Meticulous attention to detail Ability to work under
pressure and meet tight deadlines Customer Service Orientation Computer
literacy: MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), ACCPAC, Sequential, Sage
and ERP Equity candidates will get preference Responsibilities will include:
Drive efficiencies and productivity through prioritization of order preparation
and execution of Warehouse jobs. Ensure timeous receipt of stock, correct
picking and loading of stock. Minimize stock losses and breakages Ensure
timeous receipt of stock, correct picking and loading of stock. Ensure all
back orders and promo stock when received are made priority and loaded
for delivery. Ensure Health and safety rules are followed at all times.
Adherence of all stock required as per FIFO basis and storage
requirements. Ensure operational planning and preparation for stock takes.
(Daily / weekly Cycle counts and during school holidays and peak periods).
Responsible for housekeeping of the Warehouse Ensure forklift load tests
are done and recorded as per required time line Ensure all accident and
incidents are reported immediately to management and actioned as per
company policy and procedures Ensure temperature readings are
maintained and actioned should there be a problem. Ensure weekly
meetings with warehouse staff on any operational changes or problems that
needs to be addressed. Ensure all disciplinary action is done and followed
and per company processes and procedures. Manage and execute against
both inbound and outbound targets as per the Yard Management tool and
project Achieve efficient day to day operations based on productivity and
delivery of goods in accordance with the company’s requirements etc.
