I am an admitted attorney of the High Court of SA. I obtained an LLB Degree from Wits University. However, I am able to undertake any course required to be an asset in the vacancy. In my final year of study, I was exposed to customer relations at the Wits Law Clinic. While serving clients at the Law Clinic I acquired substantial skills such as communication, customer-focused, analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. This exposure has made me perfect my skills in a team environment and has given me the ability to be a self-driven and hard work in a stressful environment.

My academic records demonstrate my strong academic background. In 2015 I have been elected to be an Academic Officer for the Zulu Students Cultural Society. Accordingly, my various experiences within my academia and also outside of it have exposed me to a diverse range of challenges that have provided me with the skills to be a suitable candidate. I can prioritize also demonstrate flexibility as well as working to challenge tight deadlines is an almost daily necessity.

My experience at University has been a journey filled with many challenges and lessons. Notwithstanding the challenges in my first year, the transition from High School to University life, I adopted well enough and managed to pass all my courses. I do accept that I could have done better but I believe I am making some progress in that regard. However, I remain a positive person who believes in working the opportunity given to me and it is with the same attitude that I approach my studies.

Furthermore, I sought to balance my academic life with work, working as a cashier and waitress at On Route restaurant. I undertook that job because I understand that one needs to acquire as much experience as one can. The work experience taught me invaluable lessons; namely, working with other people and as such, I can work with anyone which I believe to be an asset in a working environment.

In 2016 I registered for the PLT (Practical Legal Training) course done with the Law Society of South Africa and obtained a 100% attendance report. This course assisted me in building my legal knowledge and experience as I participated in creating mock trial law firms.  The excessive pressure to juggle approximately 15 courses in less than 6 months demonstrates my dedication to come out victoriously and diligence.

Whiles writing my attorney's admission exams, I managed to secure practical vocation training with various firms, wherein I gained a lot of practical experience and learned to build my confidence.

The above highlights that I am an all-rounded individual and given the opportunity, I will work as best as I know-how. I understand that I have no entitlement or right to the opportunity and all the more where I am afforded the same, I will serve with integrity and excellence deserved by the opportunity.

I perceive this opportunity as an extraordinary opportunity to interact with people from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds coming from all over the world. I believe that being an employee in your department will not only empower my career development but would give me the framework to utilize my full potentials moreover I feel that I can benefit from the numerous challenging career opportunities. In the end, I would like to point out that I am determined to make the most out of this opportunity. Once again I am grateful for considering my application and I look forward to a favourable reply.                                                            Email Kanye.ngcobo@gmail.com
